Almost August Live Video & MP3 from St. Pat’s 2010!

Hey guys, here’s a video and an mp3 download from my show with the Dan Band at the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluff’s on St. Patrick’s Day. This is one of my original songs called “Almost August.” I wrote this when I was in my college band called “timmy likes to fish,” I still love it and play it often, I hope you like it. You know what would be great? Share this video and mp3 with all of your friends! That would be the coolest. See that little facebook, twitter, myspace logo at the bottom of this post? Click on it and share away….

Thanks for the support, see you out there!

A week off to recover and a spring calendar filling up quickly!

Thanks to all of you who came out to support me last week! Two sold out shows with the Dan Band and the reception that I received was completely awesome! I’ve got videos that I’ll be editing from both shows and I’ll be posting the audio from the shows as well.

I’ve got to thank the staffs at the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs & The Voodoo Lounge in KC, they were completely hospitable and incredibly friendly.  It was also nice to meet The Dan Band as well, the guys were very down to earth, funny as hell and put on an amazing show both nights.  Be looking for more pictures from the shows, videos and audio real soon.

I’m filling my calendar for spring and summer dates and it’s going to be an awesome year. Come back soon to see when and where I’ll be in your town.

Thanks for the love & I’ll see you on the road!

Two Shows with The Dan Band this week!

I’m totally stoked to tell you all about the two shows that I have coming up this week. I’ll be opening for the Dan Band on Wednesday & Friday night.  The Dan Band is the band was the band that covered “Total Eclipse of the Heart” during the wedding scene in the movie “Old School,” they also performed during the wedding scene at the end of “The Hangover.”  They are great musicians and put on an amazing show, you don’t want to miss it!  Here’s a clip of their version of “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”

On St. Patrick’s Day we will be playing at the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluff’s, IA. The show is sold out, but they will be giving tickets away on the Whiskey Roadhouse Facebook Page. Click here to check it out. On Friday, March 19th we’ll be playing at the Voodoo Lounge in Kansas City.

Thanks to the great crowds that have been coming out to support me this year. As the weather is warming up my calendar is beginning to fill up, check the tourdates page of www.rpimusic.com to see when I’ll be coming your way.

Maryville, Manhattan & The Dan Band…Oh my.

Hi friends!

It’s finally warming up and that means it’s time for drinking. I am, of course, aware that when it’s cold as hell that’s also drinking time, but anyway I just wanted to tell you about the 2 fantastic shows that I have for you this weekend. I’ll be at the Pub in Maryville on Friday the 12th. The last show there was of the charts, there are four dollar forties, no cover get there early for a good seat and let’s do this thing. Then Saturday I head out to Pat’s in Aggieville. Start your spring break right, it’s always a party at Pat’s Blue Rib’n. Both shows start around 10.

I also wanted to tell you about two shows that I’ve got next week. I’ll be playing with “The Dan Band” twice next week. The Dan Band is the band that was featured during the wedding scene in the movie Old School and The Hangover. They put on an awesome show, I’m stoked to be playing with these guys. I just found out the St. Patrick’s Day show at The Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs, IA. is sold out! The good news is that we’re both playing again at the Voodoo Lounge in Kansas City on Friday March 19th. I start at 8:00, come on out and enjoy an evening of music and hijinks. Awww yeah.

That’s going to do it for now, come see me at the Pub & Pat’s this weekend everybody, be safe out there!

Chain of Hope Fundraiser in KC this week!

Hey Friends!

I hope all is well with you guys. I wanted to post this today and let you know that I’ve got some really big shows coming up this month, and I’m going to tell you about the first one right now. This Thursday, March 4th I’m playing at a fundraiser for a Kansas City animal outreach organization. The event is at Tower Tavern, located on Martini Corner (a few blocks east of Main on 31st St.) and starts at 7:00. There will be a silent auction. The suggested donation is $10. Please help me make this a profitable and great evening by coming out and by telling all of your friends about it. If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate to Chain of Hope please mail your contribution to:

Chain of Hope

258 W. 3rd St, 1st floor

Kansas City, MO 64105

If sending a check please write Tower Tavern Fundraiser in the memo. Thanks!!

The following is an excerpt from Chain of Hope’s facebook page: Chain of Hope is a grass roots outreach organization that provides essential items for survival to neglected and abused cats and dogs in the urban core of Kansas City. We also provide education to pet owners, referrals for spay/neutering and in some cases a spot in a rescue group to find a loving indoor forever home.

You can contact us at chainofhopekc@gmail.com

Chain of Hope’s mission is to break the chain of ignorance for pet owners who neglect their outside dogs, to break the chain of unwanted litters, to literally break chains and padlocks off dogs, encouraging owners instead to use cable tie-outs that won’t embed themselves in a dog’s neck.

Thanks so much guys, talk to you soon!
